My approach

My work is a never-ending story of London as it is lived, not staged. I weave through this tapestry of a city responding to what it offers me and compels me to tell you. What London said to me, and now you, not what I asked of it.

These images aren’t illustrations of concepts, they’re observations — fragments of life where gesture, expression, light, and coincidence make a story. Try this out. Take a deep breath and look at your chosen image for as long as it takes to exhale that breath slowly. Look for the smaller details. Now look away, and then look again. See what I mean?

London changes second to second but its circumstances repeat like snowflakes. My work is about holding onto those moments before they melt into time past.

Print Sizes & Format

These photographs are available in two aspect ratios, depending on the original image:

4:5 Ratio (classic photographic format)

These sizes scale evenly and are closest to traditional darkroom prints:

  • Studio Edition = 20 × 16 inches (approx. A2)
  • Collectors Edition = 30 x 24 inches (approx. A1)

This format suits portraits and vertically framed images particularly well.

3:2 Ratio (35mm / full-frame format)

This reflects the native camera format and is common in documentary and street photography:

  • Studio Edition = 24 × 16 inches (approx. A2)
  • Collectors Edition = 36 × 24 inches (approx. A1)

Because 3:2 does not align exactly with standard paper sizes, these comparisons are provided as a guide only.

Note: Images are never cropped to force a size — each print respects the original composition. Print sizes are offered to suit the original aspect ratio of each photograph.
Some images are available in 4:5, others in 3:2 — sizes are chosen to preserve the integrity of the original frame.

Printing & Finish

All prints are produced professionally through leading fine-art photographic printers.

  • Printed using an archival pigment process
  • High-quality fine-art photographic paper
  • Neutral, long-lasting tones suited to black-and-white work
  • Carefully profiled to preserve shadow detail and mid-tone depth

Paper choice and finish are selected to best suit each image rather than offered as multiple options — the aim is consistency, not complication.

Prints are supplied unframed, allowing you to choose a presentation that suits your space.
