It’s surreal to see my work on the wall of the National Portrait Gallery as one of this year’s winners—my first time showing work in any gallery. Even more incredible, the winning image is featured prominently in the Gallery foyer, welcoming visitors to the exhibition.
The image is part of my “Hats It!” series [currently looking for a good home] and showcases the striking style of @kadowakian, whose presence made this image unforgettable. To coincide with the exhibition, I’ve also created a new book, “Never Never Streets”, which pairs some of my poetry with my photography. The first run is all gone, a the second will be on it’s way soon.
